Under the Radar is calling for 2012 Applications

Do you have a brave new artistic idea or work that should be explored while supported within an International Arts Festival?
What is Under the Radar?
-          It is an opportunity for independent artists and collectives to showcase their projects;
-          It is a program of work that indulges in the risky, the dangerous, the quirky, the offbeat and the unthinkable;
-          It draws work from all art forms including music, visual arts, and performance;
-          It presents works in spaces that deepen the conversation between audience and art;
-          It provides a new way to look at spaces in Brisbane;
-          It exposes the unspoken, unrepresented and unconventional;
-          It is an opportunity for Brisbane Festival audiences to interact and engage with multiple versions of art and art making.

The program will be drawn from the open application process as well via independent research by the Under the Radar producer.

We encourage you to apply with works that take risk with content, are brave with form and push the boundaries for your audience!

 Applications are due Thursday 1 March 2012 6pm (QLD Time)
