Tank Restaurant & Bar

One of only 3 Brisbane restaurants listed in The Australian’s Hot 50 best restaurants, Tank Restaurant and Bar is an innovative and elegant restaurant.  Chef Alastair McLeod has incorporated the essence of Japanese culinary sensibilities – freshness, elegance, restraint and attention to detail – whilst still retaining a local flavour.
In creating the menu at Tank, Alastair blends his passion for local seasonal produce with the purity and balance of flavours so synonymous to Japan. This combines with contemporary Brisbane’s sub-tropical lifestyle and Alastair’s classic European training.
Tank’s intimate but strong space, designed by Donovan Hill, provides an environment places the focus on the food and wine, its provenance, the service and the people.
The restaurant seats 56 and includes “Think Tank” for private dining.
The more casual cobbled stone laneway space incorporates a series of bespoke spotted gum bar tables , cosy alcoves and sandstone  ”ruins” to lounge on, pefect for a casual meal or drink.
