The Courier-Mail Spiegeltent will open its decadent doors in South Bank's Cultural Forecourt for the duration of Brisbane Festival.

This stunning entertainment parlour is the ultimate venue to unwind and revel in some of the best talent Australia and the world has to offer.

It's an ornate and intimate venue where audiences can get up close and personal with some of the most exciting names in contemporary music, including pop, rock, folk, hip-hop and jazz, not to mention some of Australia's finest comedy talents, as well as the cabaret stars from La Soirée.

Wet your whistle or grab a meal, before, between or after shows at The Courier-Mail Spiegeltent’s Garden Bar. The cosy Brisbane Festival watering hole is open every night from 5pm ‘til late. Enjoy the Festival vibe, sit back and admire the river, the twinkling installations nearby and the whir of excitement surrounding South Bank at Festival time.

After the show party late into the night when our resident DJs take over; and for two frenzied nights the hot-stepping rhythms of Argentina’s superstar musicians perform for free in Late Night Argentina.

Younger festival-goers are also in for a treat with The Courier-Mail Spiegeltent’s inaugural family program during the first week of the September school holidays.
