Contagion: Gina Czamecki
Brisbane Festival 2008

The world premiere of award winning UK artist Gina Czarnecki’s new work Contagion is an interactive exhibition that invites participants to experience the majesty of playing and painting with light by creating a rich and complex visual system in which the visitor’s movements generate and influence the evolving imagery. Through this interaction, the installation asks audiences to explore the biological infection and the spread of information, knowledge, rumour and myth in society.

“[Gina Czarnecki’s] work is at the cutting edge interface between science and art…”
Real Time arts magazine, 2006
