Origin Across Brisbane - Into Africa : Brisbane Festival 2008

Pulsing music, frenetic dance, high energy percussion, vibrant colours and the tastes of Africa come together for Into Africa. This exciting celebration of the beauty, imagination, stories and energy of the African community in Brisbane will include an incredible line-up of performances such as Musiki Manjaro, one of Australia's finest contemporary African dance bands and the pulsing Melbourne band Diafrix.

A massive 200 voice community choir will perform African songs and an exciting blend of activities and workshops, food stalls and local performances will also be part of the day’s programme.
