Brisbane Festival 2008 in association with Griffith University present
My Home My History
Celebrate the everyday lives of five post-war Italian migrant couples living in Brisbane in this photographic exhibition capturing domestic scenes and the social relations of this generation of Italo-Australians. Supported by documentary Mangiare Bene (To Eat Well), an intimate portrait of a successful migrant family - who worked hard, openly embracing the new opportunities Australia offered.
My Home My History and Mangiare Bene are an initiative of Griffith University’s Creative for Life Programme – sharing research with the community.
