This FREE event celebrates the greatest hits of opera, featuring a stellar cast of singers, Maestro Roland Peelman, the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra and the Combined Children’s Choir with the Viva La Musica Orchestra.
Bring your picnic blanket, and get ready to enjoy the world’s most glorious and well-loved operatic arias.

- Shuttle bus services will be provided on the day of Opera at Brookfield free of charge.
- Route 1 - Indooroopilly Station to Brookfield Showgrounds and return
- A free bus service will be provided from Indooroopilly train station to Brookfield Showgrounds and will return patrons to the station after the event. Look out for the Across Brisbane bus pick up sign on Railway Avenue, Indooroopilly and Brookfield Road, opposite the showground.
- Departing Indooroopilly Train Station 10:55am, 11:30am and 12:05pm
Departing Brookfield Showground: 3:50pm, 4:30pm and 5:10pm
- Route 2 - Kenmore Plaza and Kenmore Village Shopping Centres to Brookfield Showgrounds and return.
- A free bus service will be provided from Kenmore Plaza (Cnr Moggill & Marshall Lane) and Kenmore Village (Cnr Moggill & Brookfield Rd) Shopping Centres to Brookfield Showground and will return patrons to the shopping centres after the event. Look out for the Across Brisbane bus pick up signs on the street outside the shopping centres and on Brookfield Road, opposite the showground.

Departing Kenmore Village: 11:05am, 11:25am and 11:45am
Departing Brookfield Showgrounds: 4pm, 4:20pm and 4:40pm

Full Road closure of Brookfield Road between Boscombe Road and the Round-about adjoining Brookfield and Old Creek Roads from 09:30-18:30 on Sunday 27 July.
Access to the Pony Club grounds, opposite the Brookfield Show Grounds, will be permitted for event Parking.
