Running with Kites
Brisbane Festival 2008

A fantastic day for the whole family with the most spectacular kites ever seen over the skies of Brisbane. A sea of colour and beautifully crafted masterpieces such as intricate maple leaves and fiercely vibrant dragons, from the renowned Taiwanese kite masters Wen-Fu Tsai, Shun-Cheng Ho and Hung-Nan Hsu as well as local kite artist Tony Rice.

Don’t look up too long or you’ll miss the action on the ground. Food and market stalls, kite workshops, and lots of entertainment from Australia’s best street performers including the quirky cycling musician Linsey Pollak.

Don’t forget to bring your own kite to fly!
