A window shrouded in mystery emits shimmering sounds, thunderous rumbles and sends waves of anticipation throughout the Valley. On closer inspection, audiences will discover The Swell String, the creation of engineer, sculptor and self-confessed tinkerer Beh Wattenberg of Watthaus, and renowned sound artist Joel Stern.
The Swell String is an industrial spider-web of vibrating, humming strings created from industrial and metallic "jewels". Producing incredible sounds, the audience can manipulate and create their own music through their interaction with this unique and mysterious instrument.
Join us as we reveal this enigmatic musical production and discover the sensation of creating your own incredible sounds with this unique instrument.
