Waiting for Thandiwe is an original South African production about Lulu, the much loved university student who is the "hope" of his semi-rural town. Lulu has returned home for the holidays and the love of his life Thandiwe, a well-travelled, cosmopolitan woman who doesn't speak the language, is visiting his town for the first time, where Lulu plans to propose. Having never dealt with his identity issues, Lulu battles with his roots while planning to win the heart of his beloved.
