Blackbird Bar & Grill

Blackbird Bar & Grill features river views and two intimate private dining rooms. The bar is situated on the Brisbane riverfront and boasts 180 degree views of the Brisbane River, from the iconic Story Bridge to the Kangaroo Point Cliffs. The venue is also home to a lavishly designed Gatsby-inspired cocktail lounge which boasts award-winning bartenders.

Blackbird's heritage Australian menu has a strong seafood and steak focus, drawing on seasonal, local produce from Queensland’s most sustainable resources. Native Australian ingredients highlight a sophisticated menu designed by two-hatted Executive Chef Jake Nicholson. Choose from a vast range of premium quality cuts of meat cooked to perfection using a one-of-a-kind Inferno 96 Wood Fired Grill imported from America. Fresh seafood from sapphire-coloured wild scampi caviar to whole tuna and swordfish that are delivered fresh off the boats of Mooloolaba make up an ever-changing seafood offering that can be indulged in.

The Blackbird wine list is awarded the best wine list in Good Food Guide’s 2016 Awards. It has been hand-picked to complement the offerings from the kitchen. The Blackbird team works closely with suppliers and winemakers to ensure each wine is a true representation of region, vintage and variety.
