For New South Wales songwriter and musician Josh Swan, the release of his debut single ‘Lay You Down’ is the beginning of a bright new chapter of music and creative release. Having been around as a performer and songwriter for some time now, 2020 is set to serve as a brand new chapter for Josh, with the Byron Bay-based songwriter launching his solo project this year.
With his music, Josh introduces himself to music listeners to a songwriter who pens music straight from the heart, with lyrics equal parts energetic and self-aware. After spending time abroad writing and recording in Los Angeles and New York City, Josh returned home to pour his efforts into creating a new record - the final result being forthcoming EP, Run and Hide, on which ‘Lay You Down’ features.
A stunning showcase of indie and alternative rock blending together to explore the themes of personal connections and strong desires, ‘Lay You Down’ shows just how versatile Josh truly is.
