#Calling Suburban Hosts

Want to help bring a free Brisbane Festival event to your community?

Brisbane Festival’s smash-hit Street Serenades is back to rock the suburbs this September with free live music performances.

We're calling on individuals, communities, groups and clubs to be suburban hosts. You don’t need a venue to be a host, just a willingness to fly the flag and help spread the word.

With your help, the city’s suburbs will sparkle with cabaret cul-de-sac concerts, pop music park performances, string quartet street parties and driveway dancehalls!

#What's involved?

Here's what suburban hosts can expect

  • We'll talk with you about what sort of concert would suit your suburb, and potential locations
  • You'll help us get the word out in your local area. For example, inviting your community to attend the event via your suburb's Facebook Group
