Brisbane Airport 3D Chalk Walk
Arcadia is paved with secrets and spectacles, and the stars of Brisbane Airport 3D Chalk Walk are set to blow
your mind in this special three-week event.
Jenny McCracken is Australia’s most highly-awarded pavement artist. In 2012 she won a gold medal at the Incontro Nazionale dei Madonnaro, the ‘Olympics’ of street painting, and for Brisbane Festival she’s joined
by Amelia Batchelor and Dom Intelisano. Come down and watch these artists bring their astonishing artworks alive, and get involved in our fun chalk art workshops – perfect for the kids.
Come on down to Arcadia and get Chalked! Take a photo of yourself in the chalk art for your chance to win a $1500 Flight Centre voucher.
Simply post your photo to Twitter or Instagram, OR directly to the Brisbane Festival Facebook page to enter. Make sure you tag #bnechalkwalk and #brisfest.

Jenny’s flair for understanding clients briefs is attributed to her management background in scenic art and theatre production companies, leading teams of artists in producing sets and props for shows, musicals and special events.
Mealie left the corporate graphic design/multimedia world ten years ago to concentrate on creating artworks across many disciplines including painting, sculpture, illustration and murals but didn’t find chalk until 2007 when she was looking to learn more about drawing and to interact with the public.
Dom is a cartoonist, illustrator, sculptor and painter as well as being a great chalk artist. His fun loving nature is contagious, it comes out in his artworks and brings much fun to festival goers and workshop participants.
