"…surely set to be one of the biggest Aussie artists this year." Scenestr

Last August, Ali Barter’s part tongue-in-cheek snapback, part feminist-rallying cry, part power-pop anthem ‘Girlie Bits’ grabbed music lovers by the throat.

Barter’s much anticipated new album ‘A Suitable Girl’ - taken from Vikram Seth’s novel A Suitable Boy - is grungier and rockier than her earlier work, with her vocals and guitar front and centre.

Ali Barter brings it all to the stage with her cleverly-crafted lyrics and big sound.
