Common People Dance Eisteddfod

14 Sept | The Courier-Mail Spiegeltent

Common People Dance Project (AUS)

No-holds-barred dance extravaganza!

In one mighty dance-battle royale, the north, south, east and west of Brisbane will compete in a storm of sequins, sweat and spandex to finally prove which side is the BEST!

For months the Common People Dance Project has been working with people of all ages and abilities to shape a series of over-the-top dance routines to some of the greatest hits of the '80s and '90s in homage to the legendary Rock Eisteddfods of decades past.

In this no-holds-barred dance extravaganza, these suburban gladiators can cheat, they can bribe judges, anything short of sabotage.

Which team will you barrack for?

Contains intense competition including themes of sabotage & bribery. May contain simulated violence, likely to contain strobe lighting, smoke effects, jazz hands and sparkles. Suitable for all ages. Children under 2 are free.
