Annie Lee (AUS)

"A spellbinding performer." SCENE MAGAZINE
"Four hundred years ago Lee would have been burnt as a witch, as she has an eerie capacity to entrap her audience with a baleful glance and a twist of the voice" THE COURIER-MAIL

A topsy-turvy ride on the merry-go-round of faith, where one is often trampled by carousel horses.

Annie Lee (The Kransky Sisters) presents her new show inspired by her life growing up in a fundamentalist religion.

From wacky stories of living in a small beachside town in a Tasmanian religious community, to her portrayal of those who live by the manner of faith, Annie takes us on an off-the-wall journey through a quagmire of ideologies in a fraught search for the meaning of it all.

This performance contains sexual references. Suitable for audiences 18+ years.

This event concluded in 2019.
