Brisbane Festival and Jet Black Cat Music, in association with The Tivoli, present

An Evening with The Middle East

13 Sept | The Tivoli

The Middle East and Special Guest Banff (AUS)

"The Middle East simmer a delicate sonic stew of ingredients." THE SYDNEY MORNING HERALD

In the eight years since folk-rock favourites The Middle East parted ways, there has been a hole in the hearts of the Australian music community.

The Townsville-bred collaboration soared into mainstream attention with their breathtaking first-release songs ‘Blood’ and ‘The Darkest Side’ from their debut EP, and soon secured themselves positions on international festival line-ups such as Coachella and Glastonbury. In 2011 they released their debut album I Want That You Are Always Happy, a record that etched its way into the DNA of music lovers across the globe before the band suddenly called it a day.

After years of whispers, solo projects and one-off collaborations with each other, Brisbane audiences will now be gifted their most enchanting songs.

Suitable for audiences 18+ years.
