The Coming Back Out Salon

Fri 6 May

The Coming Back Out Salon

A spectacular celebration for Brisbane's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Gender Diverse and Intersex community.

You are warmly invited to join us for the rescheduled Coming Back Out Salon, on Friday, 6th May 2022

Created by acclaimed performance makers All The Queens Men and featuring a magnificent line-up of LGBTIQ+ and allied performers, The Coming Back Out Salon is a celebration for the whole community. This spectacular intergenerational social event proudly acknowledges the resilience of LGBTIQ+ elders who have lived through it all, as well as those coming out for the very first time.

Join us for this night of cultural significance where rainbow allies can sit alongside LGBTIQ+ elders to eat, drink, dance, reminisce and dream together into the future.

Featuring some of Australia’s leading queer and allied performers, including Aunty Dawn Daylight, Deborah Cheetham, William Yang, Christine Johnston, Brian Lucas, Tina Del Twist, Chinta Woo-Allcock, Caroline Nin and Gerry Connolly, with MC Tristan Meecham and more acts to be announced.

After the past two years, this is the perfect event for Brisbane to Come Back Out! Come out one and all, young and old.
