#Look out for these artists

Pelicans

Dead Puppet Society

Inquisitive yet playful, magnificent yet clumsy. With an insatiable curiosity to investigate people, places and objects, these comics of the bird world explore their environment with their snapping beaks and reveal their majestic wingspans, all whilst waddling through the crowd.

Megafauna

Dead Puppet Society

Giant visitors from a forgotten time have returned to find a forest of concrete and steel. As they make their way through the altered landscape, these gentle giants remind us of the effect we have had on the creatures who share our island.

Boombox Chicks

Elements Collective

A vibrant and energetic girl gang, ready to roll on their blinged-out lowrider bikes. These dancers will groove their way through any crowd, eagerly awaiting a chance to dance it out with anyone who comes their way.

Personal Cheer Squad

Elements Collective

This group of talented dancers and acrobats will be waiting for the perfect opportunity to hype on any passer-by. Dedicated to being a personal cheer squad to help any fitness lover laugh and push through their activity of choice.

Loopy Lifesavers

Elements Collective

A group of over enthusiastic “lifesavers” who tend to be more of a hazard to themselves than a help to others. Clumsily fumbling their way through a crowd, these loopy lifeguards will make sure their fellow swimmers or passers-by are safe and ruled up before entering or nearing any water feature no matter how small.

The Squad

debase productions

Inspired by the 2018 Commonwealth Games at the Gold Coast, The Squad’s roving performances include ‘The not so normal Netballers’ who present the most peculiar game involving a giant hoop and balls, ‘The Longest Race’ a comical relay race that seems to never end, and a glitter bomb cheer squad unlike any other.

The Lollypop Ladies

The Mask Family

The Lolly Pop Ladies is a dynamic, interactive, visually impactful and endearing mask theatre act. These ladies will engage in playful games with members of the crowd as they wander through their afternoon walk.

Ma’amselle Claire

Manoeuvre

Ethereal bubble-blowing stilt walkers.

The Step-ups Troupe

Flipside Circus

Featuring young people aged between 8 – 16 flipping, tricking, juggling and unicycling their way along Brissy’s bike paths and green spaces.
