SANDBAG is an independent community based organisation. It runs 5 major programs in the Sandgate and Bracken Ridge Communities. *Domestic Violence and Family Counselling, information and referral, group programs and ongoing support and action group; *Collaborative planning program - working with local groups such as women's self-help group, local festivals and arts; *Disability program - providing community access and linking for people with disabilities in the Bracken Ridge area; *Community Education and Training courses in self-development and employment training program; *Community Enterprise Development Program - identifying ways in which people can contribute beyond mainstream economic system including community nursery and garden, catering group, cleaning business and savings and loans circles.
