Giving Program
Brisbane Festival is built by artists, audiences, volunteers, partners, donors and supporters. Together, we switch Brisbane on each September.
A new chapter begins in 2026 as Brisbane Festival returns to South Bank, with Festival Village at its heart. From first light through to after dark, this ambitious vision creates new opportunities for people to gather, connect and participate.
Support from donors helps make it possible.
It Takes a Village
Your generosity helps:
- Support artists to create and share bold new work.
- Bring ambitious artistic experiences to Brisbane.
- Keep Festival experiences accessible and affordable.
- Expand family, community and accessibility initiatives.
- Champion local artists and creative voices.
- Create opportunities for people of all ages to gather and participate.
- Build connections through shared cultural experiences.
To build a Festival for Brisbane that is open, alive and shared takes people. Every contribution helps bring Brisbane Festival to life.

Get Involved
As Brisbane Festival returns to South Bank and the Village begins to take shape, this next chapter will continue to build over the coming years. It takes a village to realise ambitions of this scale, and we invite you to be part of what comes next. Supporters can play a meaningful role in shaping the future of Brisbane Festival through opportunities aligned with their interests and areas of passion. This may include supporting the growth of the Village, expanding family programming, increasing accessibility, or helping bring new artistic and community experiences to life.

From our Donors
“To see a show get commissioned, come to life, and then performed live and see the enjoyment it brings so many people, you can’t help but want to do more and more every year.”
Courtney Talbot, Giving Committee Deputy Chair
“I believe so emphatically in the value of the arts. It allows the artistic direction to be much bolder, and to put on great shows which would otherwise be unaffordable.”
Philip Bacon AO, Board Director Chair and Giving Commitee Member
“I really feel I am fulfilling a lot of my philanthropic goals by supporting the arts and seeing Brisbane evolve as a city.”
Virginia Bishop, Donor
