Brisbane Festival is looking for enthusiastic volunteers this September!
This year’s Festival runs from Fri 30 Aug to Sat 21 Sep. Get excited for the return of some of your favourite program highlights including Lightscape and The Art Boat, along with the inclusion of many exciting new shows like Private View, Straight From The Strait, GRIMM and Trent Dalton’s Love Stories. Of course it’s not Brisbane Festival without Riverfire by Australian Retirement Trust opening the festival with a bang!

Brisbane Festival Volunteer Program
Brisbane Festival boasts a rich history of volunteerism, with the Volunteer Program playing a vital role in its success. Without the dedicated efforts of volunteers, the festival would be unable to present such an extensive range of events throughout Brisbane.
Our volunteers gain events industry experience, contribute to the local and international arts community, network with arts professionals, make new friends and shape the vibrant Brisbane Festival atmosphere!
The Specifics
Volunteers are asked to undertake a minimum of 5 shifts across the duration of Brisbane Festival’s program. Should you wish to contribute more, there’s no maximum.
Volunteer Roles include:
- Pre-Festival Office Assistant
- Front Of House Assistant
- Ticketing Assistant
- Way Finder
- Invigilator
