The Specifics
We are seeking volunteers who are:
- 18 years or older
- Enthusiastic and reliable
- Confident communicating with people from all backgrounds
- Able to commit to a minimum of 5 shifts
Shifts span a wide range of activities including:
- Greeting & way-finding
- Assisting with deliveries and distribution of resources
- Ticketing
- Other office-based or behind-the-scenes roles
- Approaching visitors to complete surveys
- Helping visitors to engage with an activity
- Ushering audience members or event participants
- Other front-of-house roles

Our volunteers gain events industry experience, contribute to the local and international arts community, network with arts professionals, make new friends and shape the vibrant Brisbane Festival atmosphere. As a token of our appreciation, you’ll also receive:
- Brisbane Festival Volunteer uniform (yours to keep after the festival)
- A digital certificate of appreciation
- Additional offers may become available through the volunteer portal
- Invitation to a special volunteers celebration event
