Communities Program
Art is for Everyone!
At the heart of the Brisbane Festival Communities Program is connecting communities with artists and creative practice.
Through our Artist in Residence model, Brisbane Festival partners with Neighbourhood Centres to deliver high-quality arts experiences that support creativity, connection and wellbeing. This program is made possible with the funding and support of the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety.
In 2026, the program will focus on the following artforms:
- Dance and movement
- Choir and singing
- Visual arts
- Fashion and textiles
Are you interested in taking part in free creative workshops this year? Registrations for participants will open from early June 2026, so keep an eye out for more details!
