Singapore Airlines - Artistic Journeys
Artistic Journeys
Artistic Journeys is a special collaboration between Brisbane Festival, Brisbane Airport, and Singapore Airlines, spotlighting internationally renowned artists as they travel through Brisbane to share their creativity with the world.
In episode one, acclaimed choreographer and Artistic Director of L.A. Dance Project, Benjamin Millepied (FR), flew direct on Singapore Airlines to open the Festival in style with his revolutionary dance event Gems. We caught up with him in the SilverKris Lounge at Brisbane Airport to hear his thoughts on everything from flying tips to the poetry of travelling.
Episode two features design icons Craig & Karl, the locally raised and globally praised duo who lit up their hometown with their signature bold and playful artworks across Brisbane Festival 2025. Now based in New York and London, we joined them onboard and in the SilverKris Lounge to chat creativity, inspiration, and their journey from Griffith University to the world stage. Their work continues across Brisbane with Double Vision at Griffith University Art Museum and Rear Vision as part of Brisbane City Council’s Outdoor Gallery.
Episode three features Brisbane Festival Artistic Director Louise Bezzina as she reflects on what it takes to deliver an international festival of scale, and why partnering with Singapore Airlines helped the festival deliver a show that made Brisbane proud.
