From sunrise to last call Verso Projects. Festival Village, South Bank is the civic heart of Brisbane Festival – a riverside gathering place alive with music, performance, food, art and nightlife from sunrise to late night.
As the city wakes, mornings begin with sunrise rituals, soundscapes, movement and daybreak dance parties by the river. Through the day, the Village hums with free activities for all ages – giant singalongs, pop-up performances, workshops, conversations and moments of surprise around every corner.
Then, as night falls, the energy shifts. Bright Nights by ANZ transforms the skyline in an explosion of sound, water and light, and the Village switches on after dark with live music, DJs and late-night revelry.
Come for a headline show or stumble into something completely unexpected. Grab a drink, pull up a seat by the river, follow the lights, join the party and stay for one more. The Village is where the city gathers to switch on, light up and come alive together.

Welcome to the Village's alfresco precinct. The covered marquee plays host to a wide range of music, dance and circus arts performances while the open area features art-based play, workshops and hands-on activities.
All overlooking the beautiful Brisbane River. It's also a great spot to watch the nightly showings of Bright Nights by ANZ.
South Bank Town Hall

A place to engage with artists and new ideas. From morning talks to afternoon showcases and late-night gigs, South Bank Town Hall is buzzing from the early hours until well after dark!
Fuel up with delicious food and drinks inside the Hall, then head out onto the stunning veranda to soak in the river view, catch a breathtaking sunset, and experience the dazzling magic of Bright Nights by ANZ every single evening.
