Getting There
Parking
The Thomas Dixon Centre has two levels of onsite parking, accessible via Raven Street. Parking must be booked via the Parkable App. Please note you will be charged from the session start time upon booking.
Public Transport
The Blue CityGlider route bus travels from West End to South Brisbane via Montague Road, stopping right outside the Thomas Dixon Centre (Raven Street stop).
The South Brisbane Train Station is the closest station, located adjacent to the Cultural Centre which is serviced by the bus routes listed above.
The CityCat stops at the West End Ferry Terminal, located at the end of Hoogley Street.
Drop Off
There is a designated drop off zone at the front of the main entrance on Drake Street for taxis, rideshare, and visitors requiring ground level access.
Accessibility
Parking and Drop Off
The Thomas Dixon Centre has two accessible parking bays located in the carpark at Basement 1 level. This is accessed via the driveway entry on Raven Street, after which access to the foyer is via a lift located very close to the bays. There is also a designated drop-off point at the front of the building on Drake Street.
Wheelchair Access
Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available on every public level of the building, including an adult accessible change room and three shower rooms on the ground floor, located across from the Community dance studio on the ground floor.
Mobility Assistance
For visitors requiring mobility assistance on site, the Thomas Dixon Centre has one wheelchair available. Please speak with our Visitor Services team.
