Common People Dance Project
Discover the joy of choreographed dance, celebrate community, and lose yourself in the moment!
Come learn an energetic and fun dance routine open to everyone. Love to dance? Sign up! Never danced before? No worries! All ages, all body shapes, all abilities are welcome here to unite through playful choreography and infectious energy.
Dancing is fun and playful and joyful and can be really funny. It helps us connect with other people. It makes our bodies fit and healthy without us even being conscious of working out. It makes us smarter by drawing oxygen to our brains and also exercises our memories as we learn and piece together choreography. But most of all it makes us happier.
Led by Creative Director Neridah Waters, Common People was born from a spontaneous flash-mob at a circus festival, and has grown into an international phenomenon, touring fringe, music, and circus festivals worldwide.
