Free Costume Design Workshops with Sarah Winter
Express yourself through costume creation!
Inspired by the Festival’s presentation of Windmill’s Mama Does Derby, this workshop series introduces participants to the expressive world of roller derby culture. Working with Designer and Maker, Sarah Winter, you’ll explore how derby communities use fashion, alter-egos and personal style to express identity, solidarity and pride, designing and creating your own costume and unique Derby name and persona.
