Camerata – Queensland's Chamber Orchestra explores ‘eternal memories’ received from their audience in this nostalgic, moving, and humorous concert alongside the remarkable Australian singer-songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke.

William Yang’s iconic photographs are brought to life with a haunting score performed live by Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra. Internationally acclaimed Australian composer Elena Kats-Chernin has composed an original score especially for Milestone and will perform live on stage alongside the orchestra.

Renowned violinist Véronique Serret uses her voice for the first time on her ARIA-nominated album, singing songs as offerings to the natural world. Performing with a full band and joined by special guest William Barton, who brings the haunting sounds of the yidaki/didgeridoo to this intimate experience.

Developed by Canadian composer and guitarist Tim Brady, this unparalleled immersive sound experience features 100 electric guitarists from across Brisbane. This special performance will feature Brisbane’s own Topology, infusing the experience with their signature rhythmic virtuosity on piano, saxophone, violin, viola, and double bass.

One of the world’s most beloved and famous operas, La bohème is Puccini’s romantic tour de force. With a great love story comes a beautiful score, and Puccini’s powerful yet delicate music tugs at the heartstrings. Featuring some of the most well-known arias and duets ever written, this opera is a treasure trove of musical highlights.  

The Quandamooka Crooner, Adam James and The Dreamtime Swing reimagine the songs of iconic First Nations musicians with the electrifying flair of 60s big band music. Also serenading crowds will be Yalanji jazz icon Deline Briscoe's Gaba Musik + Topology. Come celebrate the gorgeous spring weather at St Lucia Serenades.

Immerse yourself in a powerful expression of cultural harmony as JADE Ensemble premieres an intimate concert featuring the combined artistry of Wakka Wakka didgeridoo artist/musician David Williams, Japanese koto master Takako Haggarty, Nepalese tabla virtuoso Dheeraj Shrestha, and guitarist/composer Anthony Garcia.

Sparkling soprano Katie Stenzel and baritone Jon Maskell are bringing the laughs and the romance alongside virtuoso pianist Alex Raineri. The program begins with highlights of American opera, with arias by Douglas Moore, Leonard Bernstein, and more, before moving on to the main event: Gian Carlo Menotti’s chamber opera, The Telephone.

Under the command of Alexander Gavrylyuk, Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 is a flurry of virtuosity. Witness Shostakovich’s harrowing Symphony No. 10, a tour de force of orchestral power, which claws its way from despair to hopeful triumph. Queensland Symphony Orchestra will be led by Chief Conductor Umberto Clerici.

David Bailey is continuing what was once a staple of Australian cinema — theatre organ performance and silent film accompaniment. Bailey’s interest in the history of Brisbane’s cinemas and their organs has informed his performance style, helping him bring the world of silent cinema to modern audiences.

Guided by esteemed musical director Dave Spicer, Invoices is Queensland Conservatorium’s flagship vocal ensemble — a group of vocalists known for their intricate harmonies, tight arrangements, and stylistic versatility. Invoices regularly perform alongside Brisbane’s finest musicians, traversing jazz, contemporary, soul, and beyond.

The evening features a diverse lineup of performers, including the Hummingbird Collective (Indigenous choir), Banksia Beats WA — a music-in-prisons program, and partners from Real and Diverse Theatre. Concluding will be the world premiere of Griffith's new graduation processional for orchestra and choir, composed by alumnus Melody Eötvös.
