Bright Nights by ANZ transforms the Brisbane River into a dazzling, choreographed canvas of water, light, and sound. Floating fountains, waterscreens, amazing animated water features and water jets shooting up to 80 meters high, all pierced by a stunning laser light show, this bold installation fills the Festival Village precinct with colour, energy and emotion.
Commencing with a Welcome to Country and placemaking audio story told by Traditional Owner Yuggera and Turrbal man Shannon Ruska, Bright Nights by ANZ will be a nightly celebration and reflection upon Brisbane and its landmark River.
Proudly presented by ANZ, this free, world-class experience invites locals and visitors alike to gather on the river's edge and enjoy one of Brisbane Festival's most spectacular nightly events.
You can enjoy this free, visual extravaganza three times nightly throughout the Festival at 6pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm Tues-Sun.
If you like to be front and centre
For the best experience, get in early and score yourself a spot in Verso Projects. Festival Village, South Bank where you can also enjoy a snack or a meal from the array of food trucks. Sip some cool drinks or treat yourself to a glass of Taittinger French champagne throughout the show. The Village is the only location to hear the original soundtrack created by Brisbane pop-rock duo The Veronicas — the work pulses with a distinctly local energy, amplifying the spectacle’s emotional resonance and contemporary edge. If you're also visiting on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, head to the ANZ Show Deck along the Brisbane River for another great vantage point to experience Bright Nights by ANZ.

Don’t have time to stop? You can still enjoy the show visuals for as little or as long as you like from the Neville Bonner and Victoria Bridges, or watch from the north side of the river along the Bicentennial bikeway.
