Aboriginal Centre for Performing Arts: Community Showcase

Discover the next wave of Brisbane’s performing arts talent in a vibrant live showcase developed over four days of collaborative creation that celebrates artistic growth and individual voice.

On stage at the Judith Wright Arts Centre, audiences are taken through a dynamic presentation of dramatic scenes, ensemble work, and performance pieces, each curated under professional guidance. Developed through the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts’ School Holiday Workshop program, the showcase brings together young performers as they present original work shaped through intensive training in dance, singing, acting, and storytelling.

More than a performance, ACPA’s Community Showcase brings audiences into the process of real time creation from some of Brisbane’s most exciting new emerging artists.
