Inspired by old country delta blues, gospel, and mountain music, with strong ties to Yugambeh and Kombumerri lands reflected in his music, Karl has released three (soon to be four) albums of original music. He has received two Queensland Music Awards (2018 and 2021), as well as both ‘Release of the Year’ for Lifeblood (2021) and ‘Artist of the Year’ (2015) at the Gold Coast Music Awards.
