The sixth annual Alexander Ball is back to reignite the Ballroom scene. Curated by the House of Alexander Mother, Ella Ganza, a Samoan-Māori trans woman of colour, the event showcases diverse 'walkers' from across Australia and internationally.

Drawing on his vast collection of documentary photographs and poignant personal reminiscences, William Yang weaves together themes of family, cultural, and sexual identity with his signature blend of warmth, disarming humour, and total candour in this combination of music, photography, and storytelling.

Unveiling Shadows is the debut solo work of First Nations (Bidjara/Kullali/Wakka Wakka) Italian artist, House of Alexander Father, and performer Joshua Taliani, directed by Wanida Serce. Joshua’s signature style is heavy on open choreography, infused with the art form of vogue.

Miss Ellaneous (AKA Malak Malak, Kungarakan, Muran Clan, and Torres Strait Islands man Ben Graetz) blends storytelling, cabaret, and drag in this heartfelt tribute to the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll, featuring guest artists from the Brisbane drag and First Nations communities.

Coinciding with the 35th anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexuality, Queensland Museum’s newest exhibition explores the history of our state’s LGBTQIA+ communities, fashion, pop culture, and lived experiences.

Presented as a work in progress reading, Tracks is the companion work to The Button Event, created by Todd MacDonald in 2014, which explored the lived experiences of being medicalised as a parent of a child with a genetic disorder. Ten years later, that child, Alex MacDonald, seeks to find their voice and explore their experience of living with a genetic disorder and autism in a non-binary body.
