Brisbane Festival Announces Packed Program of First Nations-led Work

Brisbane Festival is proud to present an incredible program of First Nations work that honours the stories of two of the longest-surviving cultures in the world.

More than 170 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural knowledge holders, trailblazers, nurturers, advocates, teachers, survivors and leaders will share their stories through music, dance, theatre, cabaret and art installations this September.

We pay our respects to the elders and Traditional Owners of this country that we have the honour of working on, and to tell stories and share experiences with our community.

We look forward to delivering a Festival that connects deeply with this country and opens our hearts to a brighter and more compassionate future.
