Cloe Terare

From Toowoomba, Australia, Cloe is creating new sounds in electronic pop/soul. Fusing elements of her influences Jessie Reyez, Lana Del Ray and H.E.R., Cloe harnesses dark emotional tones and reflective lyrics as she crafts introspective and intimate tracks that explore universal emotions.

At the 2019 QMusic Amplify Songwriting Retreat, Cloe collaborated with DVNA on the soulful ‘Easy’ - the track that earned them the top prize. Cloe explains that ‘Easy is ‘‘about being with people who you really connect with and realising connections shouldn't be toxic or too painful like it can be depicted.’ The track scored her Artist of the Week at the Australian Independent Record Labels Association and saw her featured in HappyMag and F Magazine.

Cloe fuses the soulful stylings of influences Jessie Reyez, Lana Del Ray and H.E.R. Of her latest releases, Cloe states “...all of my writing, is a direct display of emotions we all feel, and I hope people connect with them in their own way.’ Earlier this year, Cloe’s debut single ‘Take Me Home’ earned the #1 spot on the indigenous triple j charts and #18 on the unearthed top 100.

With plenty of collaborations in the works, 2020 is sure to be Cloe Terare’s year.
