It was a hit last year and it’s back again!
Moorooka Block Party descends on Peggs Park for an afternoon showcasing some of Australia’s finest First Nations and World Music musicians and artists.
Headlined by Bustamento, this years block party brings back festival favourites, Al Zayton Palestinian Dabke Troupe and welcomes for the first time to the Moorooka Block Party an array of diverse, funky and soul enriching groups including Jessie Lloyd with Ailan Songs, Dance Masala and Keyim Ba.
So once again, come and join your neighbours for a wonderful, culturally rich, incredibly fun afternoon of pure joy and celebration. All are welcome.

Fronted by Nicky Bomba, Australia’s premier Calypso Reggae ensemble, Bustamento, bring their special Caribbean flavour, good vibes, a horn section, steel pans and dancing for all! Did someone say Hawaiian shirts and Pina Coladas? Boomshakalaka!
Al Zayton Palestinian Dabke Troupe
The Al Zayton Palestinian Dabke Troupe electrifies with traditional Dabke dance, uniting dancers in synchronized, energetic patterns to Levant melodies for celebrations.
Dance Masala
Fresh off a sold-out season of ITEM, Dance Masala brings their vibrant Indian Film dance to the Moorooka block party. Led by Artistic Director Drea Lam, the Nakhre Crew, Chingari Crew, and Level 1 legends will perform and conduct a stage workshop.
Keyim Ba
Keyim Ba combines West African rhythms with reggae, funk, and rap. Featuring renowned percussionists Sibo Bangoura and Yacou Mbaye, their unique sound fills dancefloors and gained acclaim with their debut album 'Mami Wata.'
