Take a sunset cruise, explore kinetic art installations and see new contemporary works in a pop-up warehouse theatre

Brisbane's Art Boat will travel between Northshore, Hamilton and South Bank, immersing audiences in a glowing world to experience the Brisbane River in a new light.

This wondrous floating art experience features art and technology studio ENESS’s installation Airship Orchestra on board, as well as installation Sky Castle on shore. There's a lively bar, live performances, and an evening soundscape by Tribal Experiences Managing Director and Yuggera and Turrbal man, Shannon Ruska.

A magical dreamscape of inflatable arches. This ethereal symphonic work changes colour as visitors move through its luminous arches. Light and music have been specially orchestrated to inspire joy and hope in people as they flow in and out.

#Getting There

Cruises depart from the Festival site at 89 MacArthur Avenue, Hamilton, or BOQ Festival Garden in South Bank. Look for the giant finch in a party hat!

Northshore, Hamilton Cruise Departures

All Northshore cruise ticket-holders should meet at the Northshore precinct 30 minutes prior to their departure time.

Look for the giant finch and entry to our car park, between Portside and Eat Street (not to be confused with the Northshore Hamilton Ferry Terminal).

South Bank Cruise Departures

All South Bank cruise ticket-holders are required to meet at Brisbane's Art Boat 30 minutes prior to their departure time.

The boat is moored in front of the Beach/Pool (Boat Pool) area at South Bank. It is just down from BOQ Festival Garden which is riverside, in front of South Bank Piazza.

200 free car parks are available at the Northshore, Hamilton precinct, and both free and paid parking options at South Bank.
